“Strength does not come from winning. Your struggles develop your strengths. When you go through hardships and decide not to surrender, that is strength.”
Hello, my name is Ridhisha. I am the founder of Elevate ADHD Coaching — a dream project I have built with utmost care and love for my work. I have been working with the neurodiverse community for nearly eight years. I understand that it isn’t always easy navigating the world as a different learner. This very realization about ADHD/EF has opened the doors for me to start my company and begin the journey as an Academic Strategist and ADHD coach. It also helps that I parent my child with ADHD into this mix. Through this opportunity, I hope to reach out, impact, educate, and help with the struggles of many neurodiverse individuals.
Experience.
Since 2017, I have dedicated my work to providing one-on-one academic coaching, mentoring, and academic strategies to students who learn differently.
Throughout my professional journey, I have tutored, mentored, and coached neurodiverse students from grade one through postsecondary with ASD, ADHD, giftedness, dyslexia, etc., alongside other existing comorbidities such as anxiety, bi-polar, and depression.
I have since delivered evidence-based reading remediation and writing plans to struggling readers and writers with learning disabilities.
In 2021, I started coaching adults with ADHD and EF challenges, which helped me to understand the underlying negative beliefs that most adults with ADHD start to internalize earlier on in their childhood.
In 2022, I was inspired to start my own academic coaching practice and Elevate came to life.
Teaching a diverse community of learners is, therefore, my ultimate purpose. The more I achieve success with my clients, the more it fuels my desire to learn more.
